Addy the Squirrel Fights Against the Web Spinner of Executive Dysfunction
This project was created originally for a printmaking project, but I fell in love with the character and decided to turn it into a series. These projects I created originally in my printmaking class and fell in love with the character so much that I turned them into illustrations. The project was designed for us to choose a symbol of things that mean a lot to us as an individual. I’m truly passionate about attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, so I created a character that represents that along with evil villains within the piece that represent things that people who suffer from the disorder experience. I created this character based on my life as a child before being diagnosed with ADHD as an adult. This project was created in order to show people who do battle with executive dysfunction that it's okay and although you do battle with it, you are capable of overcoming it and coming out on top.

Addy the Squirrel Fights Against the Web Spinner of Executive Dysfunction is a illustration explaining the daily struggles that people with ADHD struggle with. Addy is supposed to represent the people who suffer with the symptom of executive dysfunction while fighting off the spider with his Adderall pills.
